What happened?
Identità publishes common document requirements and separate application checklists. Requirements can vary by application type and Identità may request additional supporting documents.
Why does it matter?
Missing, expired or incorrectly formatted documents can delay or prevent an application from progressing.
Who is affected?
New applicants, renewal applicants and people changing employer under the Single Permit procedure.
What should you do?
Use the official Identità documents page and the checklist for your exact application type before uploading documents.
Common requirements include the passport and full passport copy, a signed Europass CV, qualifying health insurance, health approval where required, employment documentation and accommodation evidence. Requirements vary by application type.
Identità states that the passport should generally be valid for at least eight months from the application date and the complete passport copy should include blank pages.
